Al-Sharq Factory Steel Industries Co. Ltd. (ASF) was established in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a modest team of 25 employees and a facility spanning 4,500 sqm.
Recognizing the need for increased operational capacity, ASF's management decided to acquire land for a new state-of-the-art fabrication facility.
Construction of the new facility commenced, while temporary workshops were rented in Al Owaida to manage the growing workload.
ASF transitioned to a larger industrial area in Riyadh, expanding its facility to 22,500 sqm and increasing its workforce to over 250 employees. A dedicated Quality Assurance department was established to ensure high standards of production, engineering, and operations.
At the 2nd International Exhibition for Steel Fabrication, ASF was honored with the Award for Quality and Excellence in Steel. The facility expanded from 10,000 sqm to 32,500 sqm, and new production lines were installed for cutting and drill structures, along with beam welding. ASF also successfully renewed its ISO 9001:2015.
